You’re Not Nervous, You’re Excited!

“Stop being afraid of what could go wrong, and start being excited about what could go right.”

– Tony Robbins

You have a big event coming up soon. Your heart is racing a little faster than usual. You feel butterflies in your stomach. You can’t sleep.

You might say you’re nervous.

Research says that instead of thinking of these feelings as nervousness, reframe it as excitement.

I find that it’s an effective strategy for turning what could otherwise be an uncomfortable feeling into one that can bring you energy.

So, go ahead and get excited. It’s much more fun than being nervous. 🙂
